BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "After years of shoulder problems and multiple attempts to improve the condition, including surgery in 2001, I continued to struggle with poor range of motion and pain. I began reading about ART and decided it was worth a try. I was astounded by the positive results after the first treatment with Dr. Koslowski. I have seen significant improvements in my weight lifting goals and overall shoulder performance. I highly recommend Dr. Koslowski and ART."
